Hog Pretoria went on an unofficial ride to Soweto yesterday.  We met at Mugg & Bean for our usual Cappuccino, and things were not looking very promising with only a few bikes in the parking lot – but then at the last minute we had quite a few arrivals.  In the end we were a pack of 26 bikes. 

If anyone, for the briefest moment, entertained the notion that, in the light of recent events, HOG Pretoria was gearing down, they have either been living on another planet or are not active, participating members of HOG Pretoria.

• If you have been a Pretoria Chapter member for 5 years, you qualify for a 5 year patch.
• Membership: To check your renewal date go onto the H.O.G. International Website and create a membership profile to view and edit all your details. Renewal notices are sent from the H.O.G. Pretoria office. Please complete both the Pretoria Chapter Membership Form and the Enrollment Form – UK and fax to us with your proof of payment. Should you receive a renewal notice from H.O.G. • Remember to order your H.O.G. name badges @ R100-00 each. Delivery time +- 2 weeks!!

How to earn your colours:

1. Attend Pack Rider Training. This earns you your HOG eagle badge. You will get a new members card which must be signed off by the road captain. (PRT is presented once a month. See weekly HOG News for dates.)
2. Attend 3 Breakfast Runs. After each ride the road captain must sign your card.
3. Hand in your completed new member’s card at the HOG office. Your Pretoria rocker will then be awarded to you at the next Harley Night.

We are offering our members the opportunity to sponsor a page at the cost of R250-00 per page, per issue. This can be a permanent arrangement, unless otherwise instructed by the sponsor. Your company logo will be clearly displayed on a designated page. The Hog Horn will consist of 10 pages only, so only 12 sponsors can be accommodated. For more information e-mail -email-
